Gastronomy in Germany
The German Gastronomy is a mix of all culinary arts.
The type of food varies by region and it is strongly influenced by the neighboring country. Many of the dishes of the southern regions of Germany like Bavaria and Swabia also exist in the Switzerland cuisine. In the west, dishes are similar to the French cuisine and in the North to that of the Netherlands. In costal areas it resembles the Scandinavian cuisine.
Germans like coffee and beer. In the north they drink a lot of tea.
