The University of Leicester was founded in 1957, and is located in Leicester, UK. It is a research-led institution, while in October 2008, it was named University of the Year by the Times Higher Education. The exchange program at the university provides the opportunity for international students to study undergraduate level modules for one semester or a full academic year. All this counts as an accredited part of the student’s degree, while the variety of academic departments from which students can choose is truly diverse. Students can also consider to take advantage of this program during a 5-week spring break in the Spring semester, or take an English course if English is not their first language.
