Chalmers University of Technology is a Swedish university, which focuses on research and education in technology, natural science and architecture. The school is based in Gothenburg and was established in 1829. The is currently concentrated on the delivery of various master’s programs, but it offers undergraduate and doctoral studies, too. These are organized into seventeen departments, some of which are Applied Information Technology, Applied Mechanics, Applied Physics, Architecture, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Earth and Space Sciences, Energy and Environment, Fundamental Physics, Materials and Manufacturing Technology.
