Looking for attractions in Jordan is easy as there are many. One can start the exploration, fun, and learning trip by visiting the city first: Amman. Amman is located at the top of a hill and it has a breathtaking overlooking view of the city. Go to Citadel to know what this means. Ancient ruins and excavated relics are Jordan's priceless treasures and they are housed in Jordan Archeological Museum which holds artifacts as old as 700,000 years ago. But then again, the Museum's real highlights are: the Dead Sea Scrolls, the copy of Mesha Stele and the Iron Age Sarcophagi. Other equally attractive sites and structures to behold near the place are: the Omayyad Palace, the Byzantine Basilica, the Temple of Hercules, and the Great Temple of Amman.

The Roman Theater is another important tourist attraction to see. It is endowed with impressive relics of ancient Philadelphia. As many as 6,000 people can fit in the amphitheater. Also located in Amman is the ancient city of Jerash. Jerash is recognized as the best-preserved Roman sites in the world and this is no surprising because it was deeply preserved and buried in the sand for centuries. Jerash boasts of anciently magnificent baths, theaters, columns, stones, arches, temples and many others and scholars and tourists from across the world are simply taken aback with this so called Roman Decapolis.

Other worth visiting places in Jordan are the: Desert Castle Loop, Mount Nebo, Madaba or the City of Mosaics and Dead Sea in Amman, and Wadi Rum in Aqaba.
