Qatar's semi-elected Majlis al Shura has very limited legislative authority to draft and approve laws; the Emir has final say on all matters. Most Qataris belong to the strict Wahhabi sect of Islam. Qatar has the most conservative society in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) after Saudi Arabia.
Qatar is one of the wealthiest countries per capita in the world, with oil reserves in excess of 25 billion barrels. The country also ranks highest among Arab countries and 36th globally in terms of human development and is recognized as a high income economy by the World Bank. One of the reasons for the wealth and success Qatar has enjoyed is its excellent system of education, particularly its system of higher education, which is generally considered one of, if not the finest in the Middle East.
Nursing Education in Qatar

The sand dunes, which are formed by the effect of winds blowing across the region, create an exceedingly beautiful sight, with some reaching heights of up to 40 meters.
To reach Khor Al Udaid, visitors can rent an all-terrain motorized vehicle, and the duration of such visits can last anywhere from a couple hours to a few days. Because of the heat of the summers in Qatar, the best time to visit or camp out at Khor Al Udaid is during the winter time. The vehicles may be rented from the many car rental companies operating from Doha city.
Marroub Fort
Located on the western coast of Qatar, Marroub Fort is a marvelous place for students to visit while studying in Qatar. The attraction is one of many forts in the region that attracts toursist for its historical significance and museum-like educational exhibits. The fort was founded during the Abbasside period, and its architecture reflects the beauty of this era. Consisting of roughly 250 structures in pure arch formation, Marroub Fort is considered one of the prime tourist attractions of Qatar’s capital city, Doha.
