The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, known as UAM is a Spanish public university, founded in 1968. The school is located in Cantoblanco, a rural area in the northern outskirts of Madrid, and it is considered to be one of Spain’s most reputable institutions of higher education. The Faculty of Law within the school is known to be the best in the country. Other faculties and schools, granting undergraduate and graduate degrees include the Faculty of Philosophy and Liberal Arts; the Faculty of Economical Science and Business Management; Sciences; Medicine; Psychology; Superior Polytechnic School, and Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. In addition to these, the UAM has seven associate schools, which are not completely part of UAM's administrative structure, but issue UAM-recognized titles and are under UAM's academic regulations.
