The Polytechnic University of Valencia opened its doors in 1968, as the Higher Polytechnic School of Valencia, and became a university in 1971. Still, it is worth noting that some of its schools are more than 100 years old. The institution is situated in Valencia, consisting of four campuses and 14 schools and faculties. It has a clear focus on science and technology, but also offers programs in the fields of business and management, fine arts, computer science, geodesy, cartography, enology, telecommunications engineering, industrial engineering, agricultural engineering, and so on. The degrees granted are bachelor’s master’s and doctorate ones.
