The Miguel Hernández University is a Spanish University, founded in 1997 and located in the province of Alicante. The International Relations Office within the university was formed with the aim to support and promote the internationalization of the institution. The office’s main functions are to manage certain mobility programs for students, professors and administrative staff. These programs include LLP/Erasmus for students, professors and administrative staff – including study programs, placements, teaching activities, etc. UHM Destino program for students and professors – study and short-term teaching activities in Canadian, American and Latin American Universities. And finally, a VULCANUS program, designed specifically for engineering students. The international centre also takes care of informing students and staff about the availability of these programs as well as the organization of language courses.
