The Escuela de Hostelería de Sevilla, or the “Hotel School of Seville,” is a center for advanced studies whose primary objective is to promote excellence in the fields of tourism and hotel education, training and management. With the significant support of the hospitality business group known as Grupo Lezama and the Cajasol financial institution, the School has become a leader in the tourism-hotel and restaurant sector, and one of the most recognized schools of its kind both nationally and internationally.

In the sector of hotel and tourism education, the Escuela de Hostelería de Sevilla has won many awards, including being named the best European school of its kind in both 2000 and 2005. The recognition of the work of the School and its equipment also led to it winning the AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD in 2005, an honor bestowed by the Ibero-American University Council.

Since its founding, over three thousand students have graduated from the Escuela de Hostelería de Sevilla, many of whom have gone on to hold prominent positions in the fields of tourism and hotel management. In addition to the training students receive in food, health and hospitality management, the school also offers plenty of technical and scientific education as well, which ultimately makes them more competitive in the job market following graduation.

Since 2007 the University Pablo de Olavide, renowned for its rigor and quality training, has validated the curricula for the Escuela de Hostelería de Sevilla, including its vocational, undergraduate and graduate programs.

More about the Escuela de Hostelería de Sevilla

In a society that is strongly dependent on the services sector, the need for qualified professionals in the areas of tourism and hospitality has never been greater, and it is this need that led to the formation of the Escuela de Hostelería de Sevilla.

The Escuela de Hostelería de Sevilla began its journey in 1993 with a clear-cut objective: to train future professionals in the hospitality industry who have demonstrated a dedication to service. This aim gradually took shape in the form of comprehensive training and leadership in management. To put it simply, the school believes that “it is only by doing that students will learn all they need to know in these industries,” which is why the institution offers its students hands-on-training as a complement to the academic component of each program.

In just 20 years, the School of Hotel Sevilla has managed to become a leader in hotel, tourism and kitchen management and is now one of the most recognized schools in its class.
