Contrary to common knowledge, Kuwait is not all desert and oil wells. There are actually famous places tourists can visit and have photo souvenirs with.

One of the favorite spots tourists visit is the Liberation Tower. It is the tallest telecommunication towers not just in Kuwait but in the world. What’s amazing about this tower is that it is taller than the Eiffel Tower. This tower was named Liberation Tower to remind people of its liberation from Iraqi occupation.

Another spectacular structure to see in Kuwait is the famed Kuwait Towers. The sphere above the largest tower has a revolving observation area while the middle tower holds about a million gallons of water.

The National Museum is also a crowd drawer as an array of Islamic arts are featured, among them the Al Sabah collection, which spans from the early Islam to the 18th Century.

Another attraction in Kuwait gaining popularity now is the Aqua Park, the first water park in the Gulf region. The park boasts of 60,000 square meters of developed space located near the Kuwait Towers. It features different kinds of swimming pools, guests just have to take their fancy on which kind of pool they would like to swim and indulge in. Entrance fee is KD 3.5 per person aged 3 and up.

Another theme park which is considered the Disneyland of Kuwait is a theme park called Entertainment City. Located 20 km from Kuwait City, Entertainment City offers a complete range of entertainment packages that caters to every member in the family.

Apart from those mentioned above, Kuwait also has other crowd drawers like the Failaka Heritage Village, Failaka Island, the Doha Village, the Dickson House, Green Island and the Al-Khiran Resort.
