The natural features of China contributed greatly to its diverse climate and weather conditions. The eastern part of the country has low mountains, deserts, subtropical regions and fertile lowlands. The western half of China is surrounded with plateaus, mountain ranges, and sunken basins. China is visited by at least 5 typhoons a year specifically in the southern and eastern coasts.

  • Beijing

    The months of April to September are most ideal period to visit the city. The average temperature during this period ranges between 20°C and 30°C. The coldest period is from November to February.

  • Shanghai

    The best time to roam around this modern city is during the months of April to June where the temperature is from 18°C to 27°C. The months of November to January are the coldest times.

  • Xiamen

    The city of Xiamen has one of the finest weather in China with a pleasant sunny climate almost all throughout the year. The average monthly temperature is from 18°C and 27°C.

  • Shenzhen

    Another city with a warm climate over the year is Shenzhen. The temperature can reach as high as 32°C during Julys and Augusts. The coldest it can get is at an average of 10°C on December and January.

  • Hangzhou

    The months of June to August can be very warm periods with average heat of 28°C to 35°C. Be sure to bring some water to refresh yourself when touring the city during these times. The rest of the year is moderately warm except for the months of December and January.
